The 22nd anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks is approaching.

Hundreds of memorial sites have been installed across New Jersey over the years, many with pieces of steel from the World Trade Center buildings.

But how many are there? Where are they? How can people find them?

John Kostick realized there was no complete list of the state's memorial sites, so he launched the911project.org in an effort to visit, photograph and catalog each and every one of the more than 300 9/11 memorials across the state.

News 12's Brian Donohue spent the day with him at a memorial on the Rutgers University campus in Piscataway.
