The last day of November featured 40 mph winds gusts and heavy rain.

For News 12's Brian Donohue, this is his kind of day at the Jersey Shore.

But when a solitary walk on the beach became too soggy, Brian headed to the commercial fishing docks. It is there that he saw boats scrambling home before the storm hits and fishermen unloading thousands of pounds of fresh fish.

Donohue also met two elderly men from Italy who drove a long distance for fresh calamari for Christmas.

It was a day at the beach Positively New Jersey style and a glimpse of New Jersey life well worth a walk in the rain.
