More than 1,300 cases of a popular plant-based butter have been recalled due to concerns over yeast, mold and E. coli.

The FDA says the contaminants may be present in some of Miyoko's Creamery's European Style Salted Plant Milk Butter.

The product has a best by date of Nov. 5. It was sold in 10 states, including New Jersey and Connecticut.

The FDA labels it as a Class II risk level, indicating it can cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.”

As of Thursday afternoon, it is unclear if anyone has been sickened by the product.
