Two people in Evesham Township charged with animal cruelty are facing additional charges.
Authorities say Brandon Leconey helped Rebecca Halbach pose as an employee of a local animal rescue.
Halbach allegedly used this fake position to get dozens of dogs. Many of those animals were found dead or malnourished in the couple’s home. Their 9-year-old child was also nearby.
Police say they are also investigating alleged computer/electronic crimes that Leconey and Halbach are said to have committed while Halbach was allegedly posing as the animal rescue employee.
Anyone who may have information is urged to call the Evesham Police Department at 856-983-1116 or the confidential tip line at 856-983-4699.
