Police with Norfolk Southern Railway held a safety demonstration today at Raritan Center in Edison to remind drivers of the importance of what to do and what not to do at railroad grade crossings.

It’s Rail Safety Week.
Police with Norfolk Southern Railway held a safety demonstration today at Raritan Center in Edison to remind drivers of the importance of what to do and what not to do at railroad grade crossings.
They held a simulation drill for first responders in an effort to educate us about car/train safety.
Every three hours a person or vehicle is hit by a train in the United States, according to NJDOT.
