Police say it happened just before 5 a.m. Thursday on Green Meadows Road.
A suspect is seen on surveillance camera getting out of a car and trying to break into another car parked in a driveway.
Fairfield police say another car was broken into on Ramkay Drive on the other side of town.
It was not clear if the same suspects were involved.
