Police: Teen driving in parking lane causes two-car crash, pedestrian hit

The teen driver, two 15-year-olds in the car and the pedestrian were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

A teen driving in a parking lane caused a two-car crash in Kingston that injured a pedestrian as well, according to police.
Authorities say the 17-year-old was driving southeast in a parking lane on Broadway when they collided with an 85-year-old driver trying to make a legal lefthand turn off Broadway onto Hoffman Street.
The 17-year-old driver then struck an 18-year-old who was walking on the sidewalk.
The teen driver, two 15-year-olds in the car with them, and the pedestrian were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The teen driver was issued three tickets, including failing to use a designated lane.
