Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus and tanker truck that occurred in Marlboro.

Officials say the crash happened Tuesday afternoon on Route 18. The tanker hit the bus and then overturned, spilling fuel onto the highway.

The driver of the truck was airlifted to the hospital.

It was unclear if the bus driver was hurt. No students were on the bus at the time of the crash.
