Police in Suffolk County are searching for the person who setup a crack pipe vending machine on Long Island.

The dispenser, labeled "Pens," sat just behind the bus stop in front of the Coram Commons shopping center.

The dispenser has since been removed, but police are still searching for the person who put it there.

"The dispenser alone is illegal,” says Michael Loguercio, Town of Brookhaven Councilman. “Like any other structure, if someone were to construct anything on the right of way, they'd have to get permits, they'd have to get a site plan. So that in itself is illegal, then obviously what it's selling is not anything that I want in this community whatsoever."

There have been complaints about similar dispensers in other parts of the town.
