Police seek public’s help in fatal hit-and-run in Absecon

Police say a pedestrian was killed Saturday by a vehicle in the westbound lane of Route 30 on Saturday.

Police are asking the public for help in locating a suspect involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in Absecon that happened on Saturday.
They say a pedestrian was killed by a vehicle in the westbound lane of Route 30 around 9 p.m. near the Executive Lodge Motel just east of Turner Avenue.
Authorities say the driver failed to stop and fled the scene. They are looking for a vehicle with heavy front-end damage.
