Police are searching for a man who was captured on surveillance video kicking and shattering the glass door of a Chipotle Mexican Grill in Newark earlier this month.

According to Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé, the suspect was seen on video entering the Chipotle on the 400-block of Market Street at midnight on Aug. 14. Police say he kicked the front glass door, causing it to shatter.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, medium build and dreadlocks. He was wearing a white shirt, grey pants and black sneakers. Surveillance video shows him riding a bicycle.

Police are urging anyone with information about the suspect's identity to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
