A man accused of stabbing a woman inside a Jackson Township apartment on Thanksgiving is now in police custody, according to authorities.

Investigators say Jaden Thompson was apprehended in Edison Saturday after leading police on a pursuit, crashing his car and then attempting to flee the scene on foot.

Thompson has since been charged with attempted murder.
