Police in Bloomingdale are investigating a hateful act of vandalism.
Police say they found swastikas spray-painted on businesses and street signs along Hamburg Turnpike over the weekend. Investigators believe the vandal or vandals did the damage around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Det. Sgt. Steve Caputo says the graffiti was found on fences, buildings, street signs and vehicles. He doesn?t believe any of the businesses were specifically targeted. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bloomingdale Police Department at (973) 838-0158.
