Police: Ocean County woman charged in Seaside Heights hit-and-run

Responding officers found the victim unconscious and seriously injured.

Genell McInaw, an Ocean County resident, has been charged in a hit-and-run after striking a 75-year-old man with her car and fleeing the scene, according to police.

The incident occurred Monday night at the intersection of Dupont Avenue and Boulevard.

Responding officers found the victim unconscious and seriously injured.

Prosecutors allege McInaw was driving at the time of the crash and failed to stop.

McInaw is being held at Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
