Fairfield Connecticut police say Joamana Ali, the 16-year-old girl who went missing on July 2, was located in New Jersey.

Police say at 2:15 a.m. Saturday, Greenwich Township police in Warren County notified them they had located Ali.

Ali appeared to be good physical health and has been reunited with her family.

As News 12 has reported, Ali ran away from home, turned off her location services on her phone and was not active on social media.

Witnesses told police Ali approached them at Fairfield I-95 Southbound rest area and said she wanted to run away and was seeking a ride. Video showed Ali willingly entering a black Saturn.

Prior to her being located, her last known location was near Ace Auto Repair in Bellmawr, New Jersey on July 3.

Fairfield police say they will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Ali leaving her home.
