Police say a man and a pregnant woman were wounded Saturday night when shots were fired at two cars in Woodbridge.

Authorities say two vehicles were hit by gunfire just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of South Inman Avenue and Route 1 North.

The man and woman were injured and pulled over into the parking lot of a shopping plaza while trying to get to the hospital. Neither was seriously hurt.

The other vehicle impacted was found at a car dealership nearby, and there were no injuries in their case.
