Police were called to the scene of a brawl at a buffet restaurant in Brick Township.
Authorities say Dean John Hughes, of Brick, assaulted two people with a champagne bottle at the Flaming Grill & Buffet. They say it started after someone honked their horn in the parking lot.
One person was taken to the hospital, and the other was treated at the scene.
Hughes was charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
