Police in Hillside are looking for two men who they say robbed a Chinese restaurant on Saturday, pulling a gun on the owner's 8-year-old child.
Hillside Police say two men entered Wah Yuen Take Out on Saturday and ordered food. Police say that while owner Liu Yan was preparing the order, the men held a gun to her 8-year-old daughter Jenny Li's head and demanded cash.
Police say the suspects forced Jenny, her mom, and the cook into a bathroom then pushed a refrigerator in front of the door locking them in.
Police say they stole $300, along with laptops and cell phones.
Almost exactly 24 hours later, another man with a gun held up the restaurant, according to authorities.
Police say the second robber was in and out quickly, making off with just $16.
Liu Yan says she's owned the restaurant over a decade, and until this weekend, it had never been robbed.
