Police: Kay Jewelers in Holmdel robbed by man in his 70s

A man in his 70s walked into a jewelry store in Holmdel Tuesday night, robbed the store, and got away, according to police.

A man walked into a jewelry store in Holmdel Tuesday night, robbed the store, and got away, according to police.
The robbery happened around 6:30 p.m. at Kay Jewelers, and according to police, the man who held up the jewelry store is in his 70s.
The man is described as thin, white complexion, with a possible Russian accent - wearing jeans, sneakers, a wool hat, mask, and a dark jacket.
Police say the suspect walked inside showed a gun and ordered the store employees to give him all of the "men's gold.”
Police say the workers did what the guy asked, no one was hurt, and the guy walked back outside heading toward the rear of the building toward Kohl's Plaza.
