After 10 arrests, police in Parsippany worry the town is becoming a hot spot for prostitution.
An undercover operation busted seven women for prostitution, two men for soliciting and another man for promoting prostitution. All of the arrests were made at the Red Roof Inn on Route 46. The most recent arrests were Wednesday when police detained 23-year-old Haneefah Moore, of Irvington, and 25-year-old Latoya Morrison, of Passaic. Investigators say all seven women live outside of Morris County.
Authorities credit citizen complaints and Crime Stoppers tips for helping them crack down on the call girls and their customers. Meanwhile, police say no disciplinary action will be taken against the hotel.
