New Jersey police say human remains have been found on an island in the Delaware River.
According to NJ.com, a person walking along the island Tuesday discovered the remains and called Frenchtown police.
Authorities didn't give the exact location of where the remains were found.
Frenchtown Mayor Brad Myhre says there's no safety risk to the public.
No further details were immediately released.
