Police: Gunman injures 2 after being escorted from Highbridge bar

According to police, the shooter was a patron at the bar who was escorted out. He then returned moments later and fired shots into the Kalopsia from the street.

A gunman shot into a bar in Highbridge early Sunday morning, leaving a man and woman injured, police say.
The incident took place around 4 a.m. at Kalopsia Restaurant.
According to police, the shooter was a patron at the bar who was escorted out. He then returned moments later and fired shots into the Kalopsia from the street.
The bullets struck a 30-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman in their right arms. Both were taken to Lincoln Hospital and are in stable condition.
The shooter has not yet been apprehended. NYPD is urging anyone with information about the incident to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
