Clifton police caught three men accused of robbing a Passaic County taxi driver at gunpoint.
The incident occurred near a bar called La Oficina on Lexington Avenue Wednesday. Police say one of the men put a handgun to the driver?s head and demanded money. According to police, the two other men were accomplices in a getaway car.
The cab driver was able to escape unharmed. The owner of the cab company says he doesn?t know if the victim will be returning to work. Meanwhile, the prime suspect has been charged with armed robbery and possession of a handgun. The two other suspects have been charged with conspiring to commit robbery.
