Police identify man found dead in water behind Montville industrial complex
Officials say the 64-year-old was reported missing Sunday around 8:45 p.m.

The man whose body was found in the water behind an industrial complex in Montville has been identified, according to township police department.
Officials say 64-year-old Valeri Malov was reported missing Sunday around 8:45 p.m. Malov reportedly went fishing on Saturday in the area behind the complex on Chapin Road in the Pine Brook section of Montville.
Montville Police Chief Andrew Caggiano says that officers found Malov’s fishing equipment at the shoreline and searched the area. They eventually found his body and pulled it from the water.
It was not yet clear how Malov died.
