Gun-wielding suspect shot during police chase chaos in Manhattan

Police say an Asbury Park man was charged with murder stemming back to a man’s death two years ago.

In August 2022, officers were called to Top Tier Hookah Lounge in Toms River after a report of gunshots. They discovered that Eric Manzanares had fatally shot Nymere Timsley.

Tinsley was pronounced dead at the scene, and two others were treated for their injuries.

Manzanares has been extradited from Virginia.
