Police say they were forced to open fire on a teenage gunman who shot multiple rounds inside a Bronx pizzeria.
According to authorities, multiple gunshots were fired just after midnight Sunday at the Papa John?s on Elder and Westchester avenues. Eyewitnesses say an argument erupted between more than 10 young men outside the pizza place and one man inside, when an 18-year-old man opened fire. Three people were wounded, including at least one woman who was grazed by a bullet. All of the victims are expected to survive.
?I heard multiple gunshots,? says Jamal, an eyewitness to the shooting. ?That?s when the cops came out and they started shooting.?
Witnesses say a group of police officers was on the scene and quickly handcuffed the shooter.
The suspect is in stable condition. Police say the incident is still under investigation.
