Officials say a man who was waving a machete outside Terminal C at Newark Liberty International Airport following a road rage fight has been arrested.

The incident happened Tuesday around 5:45 p.m.

According to authorities, five men traveling in two vehicles outside the airport were involved in the fight.

Police rushed to stop the fight. That’s when one of the men pulled out the machete.

Yarian Diaz, 20, has been charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and resisting arrest.

The others face charges that include resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
