Four people were hurt when a car crashed into a tree Friday near Brookwood Gardens in East Windsor, police say.

The vehicle was traveling west on Hickory Corner Road when it veered off the roadway and struck the tree just before 11 p.m.

The cause of the crash is unknown, according to authorities.
