Police: 2 cars, $23,000 in iPhones stolen from New Jersey mall in recent rash of thefts

Police in Millburn say there's been a recent rash of thefts at the Short Hills Mall, including two cars and $23,000 in phones stolen.

Police in Millburn say there's been a recent rash of thefts at the Short Hills Mall, including two cars and $23,000 in phones stolen.
According to police, two cars were stolen in the last two weeks from parking lots at the mall, and $23,000 worth of iPhones were taken from a different vehicle.
Police say this past Sunday, a driver reported his Audi A6 was stolen from the Lot J near Nordstrom between 5 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. 
Back on April 30, the owner of an Acura MDX reported that someone stole 20 Apple iPhones from the unlocked vehicle, with a total value of $23,000.
Police say four days earlier, on April 26, a driver told police his Mercedes E400 was stolen from the ground level at 3:30 p.m. The keys had been left in the vehicle.
There is no word yet if the incidents are related.
