Newark police are asking the public to help locate an 18-year-old man wanted in connection to a shooting in May.

Tyree Smith is the person in question.

Authorities responded to Pennington Street for reports of a shooting.

A group of six to seven men started shooting following some sort of argument.

Police recovered shell casings from the scene and later learned a victim showed up to a nearby hospital for a gunshot injury.
