Plans to build a Wawa gas station, 200 new homes and stores on Route 37 in Manchester have been put on hold as the developer moves through bankruptcy court.

The Manchester Township Planning Board will hold a meeting July 1 to decide what to do with the 45 acres of land on the south side of the highway.

The planning board could qualify the area as in need of redevelopment, which would give the developers tax breaks to make the project happen.

The site has been an empty field for years.
