(03/03/06) TETERBORO ? A small plane carrying three people rolled off the end of a runway and into a muddy area at Teterboro Airport Friday.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the incident. The plane became stuck in the mud after it rolled into the area off the end of the runway. The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 p.m. as the Falcon 900 aircraft landed at the airport.
Friday?s incident is the latest in a string of mishaps at the small airport. One of the more serious accidents occurred in February of 2005 during the aborted takeoff of a corporate jet. Twenty people were injured when the plane skidded across a busy road and smashed into a warehouse.
