Tamir Philips has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the shooting death of New Jersey teenager Jesse Everett.

Burlington County prosecutors announced that Philips was convicted in November of first-degree murder for the incident, which occurred almost three years ago at a Burlington County gas station.
