Not even close to the star of the show is today. It's Friday. You know what it means. We're join Paul, Paul and Pals. Olivia Don from the associated humane societies in Newark. Our guests again today. Good to see you guys again. Thanks for coming in. I mean, you brought in a very special dog here today and folks there are lights and cameras and people everywhere and Joey is so at home right now, this could be Joey at your home, home in the living room relaxing and suddenly you have a best friend. You look for a home for Joey right now. Absolutely. Joey is struggling in the kennel life a little bit. He is a love. He gets walked by just about anybody who has a leash. He's easy to walk on lead. He's friendly with bigger dogs. He's neutered, ready to go. Uh He'll do better in a home with a larger dog. No cats or small dogs for Joey. Uh He's been with Children from ages two and up. Uh, he's been a rock star at all our adoption events. Um, just like, uh you saw here earlier, people gravitate to Joey. Yeah, people do gravitate because the studio is filled. Everybody wants to hang out with Joey and pet him. And here's my question. My dog is similar in that when in the house he'll sit and he'll relax. But here comes Lauren again, she's no longer afraid the dog because of Joey. But if you let Joey out back, is he still the type that's gonna play a little bit and run around a little bit? And absolutely. So we have a little play garage uh at back at the shelter and sometimes I let him off leash in there and he likes to romp and play a little bit. He'll go for the nice long walk with you as well. But he's, he's just as content sitting at the house, you know, Netflix and chill and yeah, that's this weekend on Joey. Can I get a beer with that? Oh, there he goes. He wants the belly rope. This dog is a red light player, man. That light is on. He knows how to sell it. There's no doubt about that. The activity Joey is down for it. All walks, play yards, fetch all, you know, you know, if he can swim, uh he likes the pool, we don't have a deep enough pool where we can see if they can swim. But he does like to sit and chill out in the uh the kitty pools we have at the shelter. There you go, Joe. You might be the perfect dog. Look, he was even texting with me and Lauren last night wearing today. What are you doing? No, talk, more action. Let's go. You can see how difficult he is to manage. Yeah. Right. I mean, he really is the ultimate companion. He just wants to be by your side. There's no conditions to Joey's love. He's just a mush ball. I said earlier in the green room, I noticed that when I came in just to chat with you guys and meet Joey and when he jumped on the couch and started licking your face, it was that, that blew me away because on first glance, he's got that tough exterior, you know, but then when you just spend a little time with him, like it's a big blockhead. Yeah. Yeah, he is fantastic. All right folks news 12 dot com. For more information. I mean, look, you, you can't go wrong with Joey. You got some other, uh, pets there as well. Ralph Red Sasha Mimi Elliott, I'm sure all fantastic dogs. But I think the way to go, at least today is right here is Joey wants a home and he knows how to play it up too. Look at this guy.
