In this week's Paws & Pals, Southampton Animal Shelter presented three dogs looking for their 'furever' homes.
Tito is under two and about 35 pounds. He was rescued in Mexico and travelled all the way to our East End. Tito is such a well mannered dog and gets along with other dogs. He is a happy boy who needs lots of exercise and hopes to find a family who can walk him daily and give him lots of love.
Toby is under 1-year-old and weighs roughly 65 pounds. Toby once lived in poor conditions where he was neglected and possibly abused. As a result, he is hand-shy and needs a patient, gentle person to love him. Toby would benefit from a fenced-in yard and lots of exercise. He does already know multiple commands but is still working on his leash manners and potty training. Toby would do best as an only dog and in a home with older children.
Peluche is a a handsome shepherd mix is the sweetest senior. Peluche only has three legs but he has never let that slow him down. He would however, now in his golden years, love a calm and comfortable home without stairs and a family with an easy-going life style.
