? Paterson police say their 10-day manhunt for a cop killer ended Tuesday morning with the arrest of a 23-year-old suspect.
Federal marshals and Paterson police officers descended on a Crescent Lane residence in Irvington Tuesday and took Teddy Charlemagne into custody. Investigators say he is the man who shot rookie Paterson Officer Tyron Fanklin during a restaurant robbery more than a week ago.
Police say a call to their tip line eventually led authorities to Charlemagne. The suspect has previous convictions for drugs and weapons possessions. Charlemagne?s bail has been set at $2 million.
