The Paterson City Council passed a resolution Monday banning the use of the ?n? word. At the local YMCA, kids and adults admit using the slur and say it has become part of their normal conversation. Now, Councilman Anthony Davis wants them to take a shot at breaking a bad habit. Davis says he expects people to police themselves since there's no fine involved. While most say they agree with the ban, some say it'll be hard to enforce. Irvington was the first community in New Jersey to ban the word. East Orange and Orange are expected to enact a ban as well.
