The forecast is quiet, especially for having a storm 200 miles off the Jersey shoreline. As I mentioned yesterday, the storm is close enough to swirl cloud coverage through the area, but far enough away showers stay offshore.
There is a coastal flood watch in effect due to minor tidal flooding that may occur during times of high tide.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy with patchy fog developing after midnight. Lows in the mid-60s.
FRIDAY: More sun than clouds. Seasonable weather. Highs around 77. There is a small chance of a passing shower.
SATURDAY: A nice mix of sun and clouds. Highs around 77.
SUNDAY: Early clouds to mainly sunny skies Highs around 74. The first day of autumn occurs "officially" at 8:44 a.m. This is the moment in time when the sun appears directly over the equator moving into the southern hemisphere.
Cooler times are coming.
