An arrest was made Tuesday in an attempted murder case from over two decades ago.
Passaic County prosecutors say 77-year-old Ramon Florentino Siri, of Passaic, was arrested in connection to a stabbing that happened on September 1997.
According to prosecutors, Passaic police found a victim injured from being stabbed multiple times near the intersection of Henry Street and Leonard Place.
Officials say the victim, who was not named, was transported to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson. They say Siri was charged for the stabbing back then but never arrested until recently.
