Some rail service at a New Jersey Transit station damaged after a deadly train crash will resume next week.
New Jersey Transit says a portion of the Hoboken Terminal will reopen Monday morning.
NJ Transit said Friday that Tracks 1 to 9 will remain out of service, while Tracks 10 to 17 will reopen.
Investigators say the train that crashed on Sept. 29 was traveling twice the speed limit when it plowed into the station, killing a woman on the platform and injuring more than 100 people.
The damaged train wasn't removed until Thursday. It was towed away to undergo further examination.
Rail service at the station has been suspended ever since the crash.
When the partial reopening occurs, Main/Bergen County, Pascack Valley and Port Jervis Line trains will return to a weekday schedule, with some adjustments, to and from Hoboken.
NJ Transit says cross-honoring will continue on Hudson-Bergen Light Rail, NJ Transit bus and private carriers only. The agency says that customers should also continue to expect overcrowding.
Customers are urged to go to NJ Transit's website for more specific information.
The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
