A child care center in Paramus partnered up with the Make-a-Wish Foundation this weekend for an art drive.
The event was organized to raise money to help make wishes come true for critically ill children.
The children's art at the Learning Experience was up for sale to help them reach their financial goal.
"We do a lot of drive-bys so that way our families can get involved. Right now, because of the pandemic, no one can come in the building, so we want our parents to be involved and be able to see the teachers and communicate. So it's really important to us that we do events like this where we can be there with the parents, even if we're six feet apart," said Nicole Ferriola, of the Learning Experience.
The center has raised almost $8,500, and each wish costs about $5,000.
