The switch was flipped on the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Tuesday night in a very different type of ceremony.
This year, there are viewing restrictions that are required to go see the tree due to the pandemic.
As for the actual lighting of the 75-foot Norway spruce; that too was closed to the public, but was broadcasted on television.
