A Pakistani political leader who helped negotiate the release of a U.N. worker kidnapped overseas has been found murdered.
U.S. officials say the mutilated body of Ghulam Mohammed Baloch was found in his native Baluchistan province Thursday. Baloch was reportedly abducted immediately after the release of John Solecki, an American he helped free after being held captive for months.
Baloch was found with two others who were also brutally murdered. Solecki was found tied and bound Saturday. He returned home to the states this week and has been staying with his parents at his childhood home in South Orange.
