A businessowner says his Millstone motorcycle dealership was the target of a robbery Thanksgiving night.

Mike Resciniti says he was getting ready for bed around 11:30 p.m. when he received a notification from his Ring camera detecting motion at Xtreme Machines.

“We had a nice Thanksgiving,” Resciniti said. “Before I fell asleep, I was alerted by one of the cameras that there was motion. I saw sparks flying. I jumped out of bed and called the police.”

Surveillance video appears to show thieves cutting open the gate behind the business before an off-road vehicle, a 2025 Can Am Maverick worth $45,000, was stolen.

The incident happened in less than three minutes.

“By using an off-road vehicle, there's no license plate attached to that,” Resciniti said. “And, they have the ability to not only use the roads, but use the trail system also around here and go through the woods.”

Resciniti says Monroe and state police are investigating.

News 12 reached out to both for further information but had not heard back as of Saturday night.

Resciniti says this was not the first time his business was targeted.

“These two guys on the side by side have been around here all year causing trouble, breaking into our yard as well as other businesses,” Resciniti said. “We have made some changes to prevent this from happening again in the future.”

The team at Xtreme Machines hopes it is not the only one with surveillance video. The business is asking nearby residents to check their video cameras.

Anyone who finds information that leads to arrests will receive a cash reward from the business.
