Authorities say Richard Zarriello has died after being shot in his South Hackensack store Sunday night.

The shooting happened inside the Clean Sweep Chimney Depot on Route 46.

The victim was identified as 51-year-old Richard Zarriello, of Chestnut Ridge, New York. Bergen County prosecutors say he was pronounced dead at around 3:45 p.m. Monday at Hackensack University Medical Center.

Authorities say they are investigating the shooting as a homicide. There is no word on a possible motive or any suspects involved.
