A tractor-trailer carrying very large sandbags overturned on the ramp to Route 46 West from Main Street in Lodi, causing significant traffic disruptions Tuesday morning.
According to Lodi fire officials, no injuries were reported.
The driver informed the fire chief that he felt the load shift, likely leading to the accident.
The large green bags of sand are so heavy, that a tow truck chain was used to offload them.
The ramp was closed until noon as crews worked to unload the truck and get it back upright.
