Over 6,000 new COVID-19 cases reported in New Jersey

Gov. Phil Murphy announced that there were more than 6,314 cases reported today, the most ever.

It was a record-breaking day Thursday in New Jersey when it comes to the latest COVID-19 numbers.
New Jersey Health Department officials announced that there were more than 6,314 cases reported today, the most ever.
There were 123 newly confirmed deaths, and the rate of transmission rose to 0.99.
There were also 3,711 patients currently being treated for COVID-19. That’s a small drop from yesterday. There were 634 patients in ICU and 430 on ventilators. Both of those numbers have decreased since Wednesday.
