(10/16/06) PALISADES PARK ? Three people were injured Monday after witnesses say an out-of-control driver went plowing through a ShopRite parking lot in Palisades Park.

According to eyewitnesses, the elderly driver hit shopping carts and a motorcycle before smashing into three people at about 11 a.m. Shoppers inside the store say they heard a loud bang at the time of the accident. One of the three people hit, an elderly woman, is listed in critical condition.

Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
