It was a big boost for education in Edison as Optimum awarded nearly $10,000 to the Teach of the Year and the Educational Service Professionals of the Year.

The award was given out during the Edison Chamber of Commerce’s 25th annual awards reception.

The event honored Edison individuals, nonprofits, teachers and businesses.

Optimum was named “Outstanding Business of the Year” at the event.

Optimum is the sister company of News 12 New Jersey.
