is National Breastfeeding Month – a time to recognize the health advantages for
mothers and newborn babies.

12’s Samantha Chaney was at One Brooklyn Health – Brookdale Hospital, which
earned the accreditation of being a baby-friendly hospital in July by the World
Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund.
On
Aug. 25, it is hosting a Zoom event called “The Newborn Basics Special”
where mothers can learn more on newborn care, vaccinations, and what to expect
from a baby-friendly hospital.
